Deep Sea Visitor is a W-Engine for characters in Zenless Zone Zero with an Attack specialty, and it is Ellen Joe's signature W-Engine.

It is undoubtedly an excellent option for the vast majority of Ice attribute Attackers, as it provides a significant boost to all Ice damage and also increases CRIT Rate when using a Basic Attack, a type of attack frequently performed by almost all attacking characters.

However, to maximize the potential of this W-Engine, it should be equipped to a character whose Dash Attack deals Ice damage (note that many characters, even those of non-physical elements, deal physical damage with this type of attack). This will provide even more CRIT Rate, which is why it is so beneficial for Ellen. Nevertheless, it remains a good option even if this last condition is not met.
