Inert Salsotto is one of my favorite Planar Ornament Sets in Honkai Star Rail because it's really effective. It's especially useful for characters specialized in dealing damage with their Ultimate Skill or Follow-Up Attacks.
Furthermore, its condition to increase this type of damage is to have 50% or more CRIT Rate, something you should achieve with all DPS-focused characters if you're building them properly (ideally even more than 50%). The set itself also helps a bit in that regard by providing a boost to CRIT Rate.
