Sunday is a 5-star character from the Path of Harmony and is a particularly intriguing support unit. He’s designed to enhance Hypercarry teams, with a unique specialization in boosting characters who rely on summons.
To clarify, a summon refers to an entity brought into the battle by certain characters’ abilities. These summoned allies appear on the action bar and assist in combat. Examples of such characters include Topaz and Numby, as well as Jing Yuan, both of whom use summons as part of their core mechanics.
What makes Sunday such a fantastic support for these types of characters? His abilities not only increase the damage of the summoner but also amplify the power of their summoned entities. In fact, he even has skills specifically tailored to maximize the damage output of characters with summons. However, it’s important to note that his buffs are limited to a single character at a time. This makes him an ideal fit for Hypercarry setups, where the entire team is built around enabling one Main DPS to deal the majority of the damage.
