Boothill is a 5-star character in the Path of the Hunt, known for causing significant damage through Weakness Breaks. As such, this character benefits greatly from having a substantial amount of Break Effect to amplify this type of damage.

It's worth noting that Boothill is a physical element character, and this seems like a deliberate choice considering that physical elements tend to deal more damage through Weakness Breaks. In that regard, it's perfect for him to have this element.

His gameplay is straightforward: we mark enemies using our Basic Skill to unlock a powerful Basic Attack that targets the marked enemy, causing havoc especially if we've applied a Weakness Break. Moreover, Boothill comes with mechanics to further reduce enemies' toughness bar (it's remarkable how much this aspect can be improved) and even deal Break Damage to enemies already under a Weakness Break, ensuring no respite for his marked target.

Additionally, this character has a very unique ability: he can apply physical weakness to enemies using his Ultimate Skill (similar to Silver Wolf, but always applying physical weakness). What sets Boothill apart is that he applies this weakness before dealing damage with the Ultimate Skill, so the Ultimate Skill itself benefits from this effect.

Our main priority will be to acquire as much Weakness Break as possible; the cap for this statistic is set at 300%. Once Boothill reaches this value, he will gain +30% Critical Chance and +150% Critical Damage.

Reaching these levels of Break Effect won't be easy, but fortunately, we have characters like Ruan Mei or Trailblazer Harmony to assist us in this regard. And let's not forget to equip a support character with the Watchmaker, Master of Dream Machinations set (which grants Break Effect to the entire team).
