Scion of the Blazing Sun is the Bow from the second batch of weapons in the Genshin Impact Battle Pass introduced in version 4.0.
Like all Battle Pass weapons, it provides a bit of CRIT Rate, a valuable stat for most characters, especially those specializing in DPS (which is quite a few). While it doesn't contribute a significant amount of CRIT Rate, it compensates with a solid Base Attack for a 4-star weapon.
It's a bow suitable for almost any Main DPS Archer specialized in Charged Attacks since the passive activates exclusively with this type of attack. In addition to delivering an extra hit with a kind of solar arrow, it also boosts Charged Attack damage for a few seconds.
