Redhorn Stonethresher is an incredible 5-star claymore for those characters that get a lot out of Defense, especially if they are Main DPS characters, since it's a weapon that will provide a lot of damage to the character if it balances its Critical ratio well (something quite easy with this weapon).
It has low Base Attack, but makes up for that with a very high amount of Critical Damage (the highest value you'll ever see on a weapon). Also, since it's geared towards characters who benefit more from Defense than Attack, the fact that it has low Base Attack is not relevant.
