Ballad of the Fjords is the spear from the second batch of weapons in Genshin Impact's Battle Pass introduced in version 4.0, and it's truly a worthwhile weapon.
On one hand, it provides the usual CRIT Rate, a stat generally highly valued in weapons and one of the reasons Battle Pass weapons are often quite good. On the other hand, it offers a substantial amount of Elemental Mastery.
Regarding the Elemental Mastery boost, the only condition is having at least three characters with different elements in the team. This isn't a significant drawback, as most recommended team compositions naturally fulfill this condition, with exceptions being mono-elemental teams.
