Pyro
PolearmThoma is a character that fell into disuse for having a fairly mediocre damage and for having a very inefficient Pyro application. He gives us shields, and that's great, but we need more than that on a character to be meta. Luckily, thanks to the inclusion of Dendro, he's finally found a niche in the meta on Burgeon comps and focusing on Elemental Mastery. The fact that he applies little Pyro but constantly is precisely what has allowed him to be viable in these types of compositions since that is exactly what we want in these.
Base Stats
Thoma Burgeon Support DPS
The best build for Thoma without a doubt since it's the only way to get Thoma to deal good damage. His low constant Pyro application makes him an ideal character to Pyro Dendro seeds and very efficiently unleash Burgeons. Thus obtaining great damage in the area, also thanks to his shield we'll protect ourselves from the small damage that the seeds produce when they explode.

Thoma Support Defensive
Thoma's standard build where we'll mainly focus on maxing out his shield to protect our teammates. He has a good shield, the downside is that he has low damage and very little Pyro application, which is why he isn't used much and is more worthwhile in Burgeon comps.
