Furina is the Hydro Archon in Genshin Impact, and as is often the case with most archons in the game, she is a character well worth considering and, therefore, highly recommended.

She functions as a Support DPS, dealing significant passive Hydro damage outside the field by summoning three adorable water creatures that gradually drain the life of the entire team (now you understand the reason). While her Hydro application in Single Target may not be as high as that of other characters like Xingchiu or Yelan, Furina stands out for her substantial passive damage.

However, what truly sets Furina apart (without diminishing her passive damage, which is by no means low) is that her Ultimate can grant a significant damage buff to the entire team. This damage bonus increases based on how much health our team loses and gains, allowing Healers who can heal the entire group to now have much more value. They are the ones who can potentially achieve the greatest damage buff that Furina provides with relative ease.

Furina Support DPS

To unlock Furina's full potential, you'll need her to have a substantial amount of HP, along with the typical critical stats, damage boosts, and the like. We'll be disregarding Attack, though.

Two important things to keep in mind:

  1. If Furina is the only Hydro character on the team, she'll require a significant amount of Energy Recharge to have her Ultimate ready for each rotation.
  2. It's crucial to always pair Furina with a Healer capable of easily healing the entire team, as discussed further in the Best Teams section.
