"Obsidian Codex" is an outstanding Artifact Set introduced in version 5.0 of Genshin Impact. Like the "Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City", it is specifically designed for Natlan characters, as it activates through the Nightsoul mechanic.
This set is fantastic for the majority of DPS characters from Natlan, as they naturally trigger the Nightsoul mechanic. In this case, the set provides a significant damage increase and a +40% Critical Rate boost (which is massive) in a straightforward way.
It's undoubtedly an incredible option for DPS characters from the Pyro region, but it's a shame that it can only be effectively utilized by these characters if you want to make the most of the set.
